Teaching Climate Change home page

Every human activity can be seen as a thermodynamic interaction with the global energy system.

Combining our senses of touch and sight enables us to enhance our experience of the transfer and distribution of thermal energy. Link to a developmental sequence of lessons activities for Levels 1-4.

Emerging heat-sensitive and visualisation technology e.g. digital display and virtual reality, heat sensitive fabrics, infrared film, colour thermometers etc. offer new and additional opportunities to enhance our thermal sensibility.
