Learning activities explore regional energy cycles and the thermal energy that is generated performing daily activities such as keeping warm and cool, transporting people and goods, manufacturing goods, waste disposal etc. In the transport example the figures relate to fuel consumption. The illustrations give some indication of the relative thermal energy involved when embedded energy use(the manufacture), fuel mining and distribution, Warmer Trace Gas emmisions etc.are included.
