Talking of planets, remember my
visit to our moon? The light waves hit its surface also. It too is warmed
- to over 100°C ! And when the sun moves off an area the temperature
plummets over 200°C. Our moon has no atmosphere
and the low energy ‘heat’ waves radiate clear back into cold space. But why
don’t they do that here? After all, air molecules are transparent to light
waves.
