Wait a minute. 31% of the energy in the form of sunlight is reflected back into space. I can see about 20% is being absorbed in the atmosphere. What happens to the remaining half of the lightwaves?  That’s a massive amount of energy.The earth cannot just swallow it up. It would explode or something. The mystery deepens when I notice something else near Earth’s surface.
