Junk Joules is right. Clouds can look massive. Yet it has been estimated that if all the water dropped out of the atmosphere it would only cover Earth’s surface to a depth of 25mm. And Earth would freeze. Light on water is magical and the eye can be deceive. I stop to observe the play of the suns rays on water in all its states, ice, liquid and gas, and filled with awe at what I see.

I could find no illustration on the web showing how different energy waves interact wth water crystals and drolets in the atmosphere. My local library had nine books titled Global Warming, 13 titled Greenhouse and 6 with titles like Climate Change. Not one contains illustrations of water crystals and droplets  interactng with solar and terrestial energy.
