Random voices echo down the service ducts. Sometimes strident. Often heckling. Increasingly triumphant: “It’s humming along.” “Look at the GNP grow!”  “Let the Opposition sneer, this Government knows how to grow THE ECONOMY.” The sounds of triumph crescendo each time my only visitor departs.
