Water. Living matter is mainly water. Our brains are over 70% water. It transfers thermal energy from the sun around the globe so we don’t bake and freeze. It is the stuff of weather and weather rules our senses. It is huge in our lives and yet is only a trace gas. We cannot understand our climate without understanding the role of water.
