I ring all the call centres of the electricity retailers that serve my region. Junk Joules is smiling. I find I have to explain to all of them that ‘netmetering’ means I will be contributing electricity to the grid as well as receiving it. My questions seem simple yet all but one call-centre operator has to check out the answer from their manager.
