I find the ozone molecules transform the high- energy waves into lower-energy “heat” waves like the oxygen molecules do. Hah. That is why this region of the atmosphere is so warm. It is nearly as warm as the average temperature at the surface of Earth. I shed off my thermal clothing and continue on down . What? Back on with my thermals. It gets colder again. What gives??
