A “self healing” atmosphere? This I must find out more about! I know air atoms and molecules are always on the move and in high speed collisions. To my amazement I find that atoms and molecules, blasted apart by the impact of the high-energy short waves then recombine to form new atoms and molecules when they colide. At lower levels air is more dense and collisions more frequent.
