I watch clouds form and disappear. Sometimes they appear as a dot on the horizon and race towards me like the smoke from a great row of invisible steam trains. Other times they form out of the nothing-blue and swell up within the hour to fill the sky. Some stay for days. Others evaporate with the sun set. Amidst the endless variation of weather one pattern remains constant:
