Having brought the thermal generator more to life I decide to visit the hydro station on the Genesis Energy web site. What a blast. I open the inlet gates and fill the penstocks, the turbine and generator start spinning and electricity starts flowing. It is easy to imagine the thunder of the water churning out the tailrace
