I do the decent and go out and make a pot of tea and heat up a few muffins. I become lost in thought. Say a simple 10sq m room costs $500 a meter to build. Good insulation cuts its annual $800 heating bill to $200 and holey insulation costs me $300. Over 16 years those holes cost more than the original cost of the room.
